Hello, I\u2019m Claire Appart, aesthetician and keratotherapist, founder of The Epidermist, a skin-focused beauty studio in Uccle, Brussels.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

I\u2019ve always been fascinated by skin and passionate about taking care of it. But my understanding of skin health really began to take shape during my time in Canada, while working at the renowned Ten Spa alongside highly qualified aestheticians.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

It was there that I discovered how much more there was to skincare than simply choosing the right products or booking a facial. I became fascinated by the science of the skin, active ingredients, professional treatments, technologies \u2014 and, above all, by understanding what skin truly needs to function at its best.<\/p>

That experience changed the direction of my career.<\/p>

When I returned to Belgium, I decided to follow that passion and create a practice of my own.<\/p>

Keratotherapy is a specialized approach focused on the epidermis and skin health, sitting at the crossroads of aesthetics and dermatology. As a keratotherapist, my role is to observe, understand, and support the skin in order to help restore its natural balance and functions.<\/p>

I work with skin concerns such as sensitivity, redness, tightness, dehydration, breakouts, microcysts, acne, and milia \u2014 concerns that may seem minor medically, but can have a real impact on how your skin feels, looks, and makes you feel.<\/p>

Rather than trying to force the skin into a particular ideal, I focus on understanding what may be disrupting its balance and finding the right way to support it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
